Sacaton Route


Rider Check-in

Rider check-in and last-minute run registration for the Sacaton run will occur at Desert Wind Harley-Davidson, 922 S. Country Club Drive in Mesa on Saturday November 11th from 10am until approximately 10:30am.

Riders will meet at 10:40am for a ride safety briefing with kickstands up by 11am and riding.

Riders will depart Desert Wind area and travel to westbound I-10. Riders will continue on westbound I-10 and will continue on I-10 to 24th Street, where we will exit I-10. We will turn left on 24th Street, travel south under I-10 and turn left on University Drive. We will continue west on University Drive to the intersection with 16th Street. We will cross 16th Street and enter the Arizona Department of Public Safety, Knutson Station. There will memorial ceremonies for three fallen Troopers.

After the memorial ceremonies, riders will travel to the westbound I-10 Sacaton Rest Area. Riders will park to the right in the vehicle parking area (designated meeting location). There will be memorial ceremonies for fallen Arizona Department of Public Safety Reserve Sergeant and Trooper.

At the conclusion of the memorial ceremonies, we will travel to the Mesa Community College, 1833 W. Southern Avenue in Mesa and meet other riders prior to riding together for the barbecue.

Once all of the riders have arrived at Mesa Community College, at approximately 3pm, we will have a parade of bikes to Desert Wind Harley-Davidson. Riders will turn right on Dobson, and continue to West Broadway Road. At this intersection, riders will turn right and continue on Broadway Road to the Broadway Access Road. At this intersection riders will turn right and continue to Country Club Drive. Riders will turn right on Country and continue south to Emerald Avenue. Riders will enter Desert Wind Harley-Davidson from Emerald Avenue.

If you purchased merchandise or raffle tickets online and have not received those items prior to November 11th, your merchandise will be at the barbecue and please fill out the raffle tickets with your name and phone number prior to the final drawing.

Run route approximately 84 miles and two and one-half hours travel time with stops.
