RIDE ROUTES AND MEETING TIME MAY CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE
PLEASE NOTE: We will send an email with updated information to all riders on the Monday before the ride. To ensure you receive that email, PLEASE add azfhmr@gmail.com to your contacts.
Our rides cover a wide range of terrains, including city traffic, mountain roads, rural highways, and freeways, often in unpredictable weather conditions. These environments demand a higher level of skill, experience, and confidence, along with reliable equipment. If your vehicle, expertise, or comfort level does not meet these challenges, we strongly advise opting for a full-sized vehicle instead. Prioritizing safety is essential for all participants.
We recommend riders start hydrating days ahead of the ride and carry appropriate hydration with them during the ride as the weather this time of year can still be quite warm. Each participant is responsible for their own actions and abilities.
For the Tucson Metro Riders, we will have two rider check-in times. The first will be on October 3rd from 5 until 7:00pm at Desert Diamond 7350 S. Nogales Highway in Tucson.
On the day of the ride, (October 4th), rider check-in will occur in the southeast parking lot of the Desert Diamond Hotel and Casino, from 9:15 until 9:45am.
9:45am we will have a ride safety briefing.
10:00am – We will depart Desert Diamond Hotel and have stops to honor fallen Arizona Department of Public Safety Troopers, Pima County Sheriff’s Department Deputies, Tucson Police Department Officers, Tucson Fire Department Firefighters, and a stop at Naranja Park Memorial in Oro Valley.
At the completion of our ride we will meet rides from other routes at Harkins Theater, 5755 W. Arizona Pavilions Drive (designated meeting location).
