Our Mission:
To honor, assist, and empower Arizona’s military veterans by help provide practical resources, emotional support, and community connections that improve their quality of life and recognize their service to our nation.
A curated network of services for veterans that includes monthly events to connect military veterans with first responders and the broader community.
- Motorcycle rides with both veterans and first responders
- Coffee meetups, and mental health round tables
- Heroes breakfast/lunch for veterans and first responders
- “Day of Service” projects where veterans give back alongside first responders
Veteran Recognition Program
- Spotlight a Veteran (social media & newsletter feature)
- Veteran Hero Awards at the annual AZFHMR fundraiser or Heroes Market
- Challenge Coin Program: Create a custom AZFHMR coin gifted to each veteran who engages with the program
Emergency Support Fund
A dedicated fund offering rapid-response financial assistance to Arizona veterans in crisis:
- Help with utility bills, groceries, rent
- Short-term support after hospitalization, injury, or mental health emergencies
- Financial assistance with transportation needs to medical facilities
Veteran Volunteer Corps
- Volunteering at AZFHMR events
- Mentoring other veterans
- Representing AZFHMR at public engagements and awareness campaigns
