RIDE ROUTES AND MEETING TIME MAY CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE

For the Tucson Metro Riders, we will have two rider check-in times. The first will be on October 4th from 5 until 8:00pm at Desert Diamond 7350 S. Nogales Highway in Tucson.
On the day of the ride, (October 5th), rider check-in will occur in the southeast parking lot of the Desert Diamond Hotel and Casino, from 9:15 until 9:45am on Saturday October 5th.
9:45am we will have a ride safety briefing.
10:00am – We will depart Desert Diamond and travel north on Nogales Highway to Valencia Road. We will turn right on Valencia and travel east to South Plumer Avenue near the Executive Terminal.
10:10am – A 15-minute memorial ceremony will be held for a fallen Arizona Department of Public Safety Trooper (designated meeting location).
10:30am – At the conclusion of the memorial ceremony, we will depart via South Plumer and travel to the intersection of Valencia and Plumer. At this intersection, we will turn right and continue to the intersection of South Tucson Boulevard. At this intersection, we will turn left on South Tucson Boulevard and turn right at the first cross street (East Wieding). We will make a right into the parking lot of the Arizona Department of Public Safety. A memorial ceremony will be held for Arizona Department of Public Safety Sergeant and two Troopers (designated meeting location).
11:00am – At the conclusion of the memorial ceremonies, we will depart the Arizona Department of Public Safety, and travel north on Tucson Boulevard, onto East Benson Highway. We will enter the Pima County Sheriff’s Office 1750 E. Benson Highway for a memorial ceremony for fallen Pima County Sheriff’s Office Deputies (designated meeting location).
11:10am – At the conclusion of the memorial ceremonies, we will depart the Arizona Department of Public Safety, and travel north on Tucson Boulevard, onto East Benson Highway. We will enter the Pima County Sheriff’s Office 1750 E. Benson Highway for a memorial ceremony for fallen Pima County Sheriff’s Office Deputies (designated meeting location).
11:40am – We depart the Pima County Sheriff’s Office and travel on Benson Highway to the intersection to Park Avenue. Riders will make a RIGHT turn on Park Avenue, enter westbound Interstate 10 and travel east on I-10 to Congress/Broadway/St. Mary’s exit (exit 258). We will turn RIGHT on Congress/Broadway and continue east to Stone Avenue. At Stone Avenue, we will turn right and continue to 270 S. Stone Avenue, the Tucson Police Department Headquarters.
12:00pm – There will be a memorial ceremony for Tucson Police Department fallen Officers (designated meeting location). Tucson Police Department motor officers may be present to help our movement through the surface streets.
12:30pm – We will depart the Tucson Police Department travel south on Stone Avenue to Cushing Street. We will turn right and Cushing Street and travel to 300 S. Fire Central Place. There will be a memorial ceremony for Tucson Fire Department fallen Firefighters (designated meeting location).
12:35 – Arrive at Tucson Fire Department there will be a 15 to 20-minute memorial ceremony for the fallen Firefighters. At this location, we will have a tour of the fire station and see the up to date safety techniques Firefighters use in fighting fires and safety measures used to protect the health of Firefighters.
1:00pm – After the memorial ceremonies have concluded, we will depart the area, south on Cushing Street to the I-10 Frontage Road. At this intersection, we will turn right, continue through the Congress/Broadway intersection, and enter on ramp to westbound I-10. We will continue on I-10 to the Marana exit, (exit 236). There will be memorial ceremonies for three Arizona Department of Public Safety Troopers (designated meeting location).
1:30pm – Arrive at I-10 exit 236.
2:00pm – At the conclusion of the memorial ceremonies in Marana, we will depart the area and enter eastbound I-10 and continue on I-10 to the Ina Road exit (exit 248). We will exit Ina Road and continue on the off ramp to the Ina Road intersection. We will make a RIGHT turn onto Ina and continue west on to Silverbell Road. At this intersection, we will turn RIGHT on to Silverbell and travel north to Cortaro Road. At this intersection, we will make a RIGHT turn on Cortaro Road and travel east to Business Park Drive/Arizona Pavilions Drive. We will turn RIGHT on Business Park Drive/Arizona Pavilions Drive to the Harkins Theater, 5755 W. Arizona Pavilions Drive (designated meeting location).
2:25pm – Arrive at Harkins Theater, 5755 W. Arizona Pavilions Drive (designated meeting location).
